Dollar Rolls

4 c. flour
½ c. shortening
1 ½ tsp salt 3 T sugar
1 egg & enough milk to equal 1 cup
1 heaping T. yeast dissolved in 1 c. warm water (sprinkle a little sugar on top)

Put 3 c. flour in bowl, add all other ing. Mix well. Add rest of flour, knead till satiny smooth, approximately 10 minutes.

Let rise till double, approx. 2 hours

Roll out ¼ to ½ inch thick and cut in silver dollar size.

Let rise again 1 hr or less,

Bake at 375 for 12 – 15 minutes or till golden brown.

Brony doubled or tripled it.
